The social life
If you know me, you know that my biggest inspirations in life are all strong, successful, confident women. Having the opportunity to work for a brand that fosters all of these values in every woman they work with has been an unforgettable experience. TSL breaks down barriers in the Greek community by providing inclusive, body-positive apparel collections where girls of every kind can find clothing they feel beautiful in confident in. I am a member of their Content Contributor Program, a network comprised of collegiate creatives and influencers that collaborate and develop their personal brands alongside TSL. Thanks to a talented team of graphic designers, product developers, photographers, national sales coordinators, and content contributors, TSL is now a household name on every major college campus in the United States. I was so excited to bring TSL to The University of Oklahoma, and serve as their first Content Contributor on the Norman campus. If you are interested in fashion, content curation, or sales, I highly recommend working for TSL! It is a great opportunity to make some extra money in college while honing your creative skills and building a portfolio.
This position was the perfect opportunity to utilize my background in communication, photography, modelling, videography, blogging, and content curation. I receive monthly PR packages that include the latest styles and releases and get to have the total creative freedom to style and shoot the products however I want! I have had so much fun participating in this program, it has given me so many opportunities I never thought would be possible. One of those opportunities led me to LA in February 2020 to model a new line of apparel! This was my first trip to LA, and it was such an unforgettable experience getting to work alongside amazingly talented creatives. I got to shoot at their studio in downtown LA, as well as on the beautiful Venice Beach. The creative directors allowed me to be playful and fun with my looks, and I got to add my own personal sense of style to each photo. TSL always encourages individuality and allows their content contributors to embrace the things that make them unique, which I think is what differentiates them from more traditional apparel sites. It was honestly so much fun and truly an experience I will never forget. I will forever love my TSL fam for all of the amazing opportunities they have given me, and for always encouraging me to be my most authentic self!
