During the Summer after Sophmore year, I had the opportunity to be a digital marketing intern at DXC Technology in Plano, TX. DXC is the world's leading independent, end-to-end IT services company, helping customers harness the power of innovation to thrive on change. This was my first corporate experience, and it was extremely beneficial to gain insight into what a career in digital marketing entails. During my time at DXC, I was able to gain certification in Salesforce, focusing on customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development. The internship program was designed to only last over the course of the summer, so I was extremely excited to have an offer to extend my internship and continue my work remotely. I was given the resources to work for DXC while starting the Fall semester of my Junior Year. This included attending virtual meetings, trainings, and contributing to several campaigns and presentations. Working with DXC employees all over the world gave me several valuable insights into the rapidly-changing digital landscape, as well as enhanced my global mindset. It was a highly formative experience, and I am forever grateful for how this opportunity shaped me as a young professional!
